Legalize Mobile Sports Betting

The New York state Gaming Commission is likely to decide on a decision by the end of 2022. If successful, mobile sports betting could be the largest market in the country, supplanting New Jersey as the top sports betting state. This means that companies that already have a presence in the state have a big advantage. Currently, mobile wagers must be processed by a casino server, so companies that don’t have retail casino locations in the state will have to work with existing operators to set up servers.

The New York Gaming Commission recommends the issuance of nine mobile sports betting licenses to allow mobile sports wagering.
