Historically, in the 20th century, India has hardly had aggressive leaders. We had a lot of passive leaders like Gandhi and Nehru, but you can’t think of anyone other than Subhash Chandra Bose as an aggressive leader. After seven decades, Narendra Modi is the new generation of aggressive leader that India needs. Modi is similar to the great German chancellor Otto Von Bismarck who gave the policy of “blood and iron”. Modi in 7 years has done more than what Congress did in a hundred years. I call on people to discuss Narendra Modi’s value as an aggressive leader of India.

Modi’s contribution to the unity of India is endless and need not be recounted here. Among them the abolition of the Triple Talaq, articles 370 and 35a and a forceful exposure of India abroad. This is not to say that there were no failures. GST, devaluation and an emphasis on cow slaughter are among them, but it gave India new muscle, as seen in Doklam. KNOW HOW TO BUILD EQUATIONS WITH FOREIGN LEADERS, BE IT PUTIN OR TRUMP. THE HESITATING APPROACH OF PEOPLE LIKE NEHRU AMD MANMOHAN IS HISTORY. INDIA LOOKS TO THE FUTURE, BUT AGAIN, FAILURE IN SOME FIELDS IS PART OF AN EXPERIMENT.

He is also ruthless as Bismark was when he attacked Paris and the Parisians had to eat zoo animals to survive the German attack. I have reason to believe that he is studying the Chinese assimilation of the restless Muslim province of Xinjiang, and similar results can be expected in Kashmir.

Its greatest test came when the Chinese intruded into East Ladakh and occupied a fair amount of territory. Modi had to react, there was no other option and at that time he must also have realized that meeting with the Chinese president 19 times in the last six years was foolish. But he overcame it and instructed the Chief of Defense Staff, General Rawat, to go ahead and counter China. This is precisely what the Indians did and after a confrontation that lasted many months, the Chinese finally saw a reason and agreed to retreat.

I can’t recall any similar disconnect at any time before, as Sardar Manmohan Singh and Narasimha Rao would always just throw in the towel. Modi’s insight and leadership will also be put to the test when the Mahrashtra government under Uddhav Thackeray goes berserk and the police chief claims that Interior Minister Mr. Deshmukh raised one hundred crore rupees every month. Let’s see if Modi can break the whip, and if he does, he will be confirmed to be a worthy successor to the great German leader Otto von Bismarck.
