Homemade Air Purifier Charcoal

The homemade air purifier charcoal is said to have been discovered over two centuries ago in the mountains of Switzerland. The charcoal was discovered because farmers found that when they put animal dung or compost on top of the leaves and plants of the plants, the leaves and plants would catch bacteria from the soil. The bacteria then caused the death of many of the farm animals. No one was sure how the bacteria entered the animals or why they did it, but the scientists were able to conclude that it was due to the fact that the bacteria had an affinity for sulfur and oxygen. When the oxygen was removed from the air, the sulfur would die, and the bacteria moved on to other places.

This discovery of the charcoal led to another theory as to how the deadly bacteria entered the animals and how they could die there. It was noted that all the cattle in the surrounding areas of the Switzerland had breath that smelled horrid. They had all developed respiratory problems. Someone realized that the oxygen had gone missing from the air due to a chemical reaction that had occurred in the soil surrounding the animals. He figured that the same thing could happen in humans if the air purifier in their homes did not work properly.

After further studies were conducted and calculations were made, the oxygen level in the air was found to be depleted by many people in the surrounding cities of Switzerland. One night, a young woman in her home was looking at her flowers when she suddenly noticed the underside of one of her petals had a faint smell of sulfur. The next day, her father told her it was likely the result of the sulfur in the air purifier. She decided to get rid of the air purifier that evening.

Her father made her take a shower and while she was still in the bathroom, he breathed in some of the tainted water that was in the bathroom. Her lungs started to burn and soon enough, she was coughing so hard she could hardly breathe. She immediately called her mother who sent her to the hospital in Switzerland.

The doctors there could not believe what they were seeing. It was nearly a week before she could even think clearly enough to tell them she did not want to live in an air purifier anymore. Her parents made the decision that she would have to move out of the house as quickly as possible. Her breathing was so bad she could barely breath on her own. Her father tried holding her head up by holding the headstone that was next to her bed in place with his free hand, but she was gasping so loudly she could not be held down any longer.

Her father kept telling her to go see the doctor as soon as possible. Doctors assured her that there was nothing wrong and she could put up with the smell for a couple more days. She ignored his advice. For the next couple of days, she could still smell the odor of the chemical that had been in her breathing air. Her skin began to turn red and her lips turned white from the lack of oxygen.
