If you’re still reading, I’m sure you’re wondering how you can possibly eat to achieve a flatter stomach. Let me assure you that it is possible and in my opinion the best way to get a flatter stomach that can be sculpted into the legendary abs I’m sure you’ve heard so much about. I say this as a person who has tried different methods to lose belly fat. This is not the only method that works, however I personally have a lot of success with this and still follow this method.

Have you ever heard the saying “you are what you eat”? This saying, unlike many, is closer to the truth than most would think. Everything we consume has some effect on our body. If you play video games, this may be a bit easier to understand. Food has statistics. For example, you are hungry and you decide to go to the kitchen to have a good snack. You rummage through the kitchen and fridge to find a microwaveable sandwich. He is happy to find this sandwich because he thinks it is big enough to satisfy his appetite. You microwave the sandwich, go back to your room, and eat it. You feel full and therefore your appetite is turned off. Let’s break things down because it’s in the breakdown that you start to see and understand what’s really going on here. In this simple action alone, there are many ways to break it down, however I will only break it down in two ways, the mental (the thought process) and the physical (food stats).

First, I’ll start with the thought process that went into this decision. You were_ (watching TV, playing a video game, reading, fill in the blank) and you felt a little pain in your stomach and you thought I’m hungry. This is the first thing we will examine. Were you really hungry, or did you just think you were by associating the rumbling stomach ache with a way your body tells you it’s time to eat? This alone can cause many of us to eat just for the sake of eating. The trick I use to see if I’m really hungry is to ask myself: am I hungry enough to eat broccoli? (This can be replaced with whatever food you don’t exactly like.) Be honest with yourself and if the answer is no, you are probably thinking you are hungry instead of actually hungry. Moving on to the next action, you leave your room and head to the kitchen. Once in the kitchen you start looking for something to eat. During your search, you may skip the healthier options for something you think will satisfy you. If you say you want to get in better shape, make sure your decisions are aligned with that vision or you’ll only end up further and further from your goal. Taking a look at the food stats for the sandwich without even identifying what type of sandwich it is, I can safely guess that it would be processed, or at least the meat in the sandwich would be processed. For those trying to lose weight, processed foods are big bumps in the road. I would suggest removing processed foods from your diet if it’s really possible for you. If you can’t cut out all processed foods, I suggest slowly replacing some of your favorite processed meals or snacks with healthier alternatives. I say slowly so as not to force you into a new lifestyle that you may not be able to maintain. Processed foods are known to cause inflammation when consumed in large amounts, which undermines most weight loss efforts. The statistics for the sandwich consumed would pale in comparison to a fruit and vegetable smoothie for a mid-day snack. I won’t go too deep into the benefits of certain foods in this article, but it’s important to start becoming aware of what you’re eating and how it helps or prevents you from reaching your goal.

Eating dense foods like fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts, and greens will help you lose more weight and feel better. Foods like these are packed with nutritional value that your body can and will use. The reason I said abs won’t solve all your problems is because if you’re destroying all your gym gains because of your bad diet in the kitchen, at best you’re fighting an uphill battle that YOU are in. making the ride ever steeper. falling off when the hill seems too steep to climb. Throughout my journey, I learned that I was building core muscles under belly fat. Unless your goal is to become a sumo wrestler, I’ll assume you want to be proud to show off your body and I’ll let you know that going to the gym hard but having little discipline in the kitchen will lead you to follow in my footsteps. Diet and excise are like two sides of a corner. I admit that with a proper diet you may be able to skip some excises, but your body needs movement. It’s healthy for you to get some excise in any way you can.

A few more tips to help you build those abs focus on more lean protein like chicken, fish, nuts, soy foods, eggs, and dairy, just to list a few. This will help build more muscle. This is a good idea for women too, as the more muscle you have, the more energy you need to maintain it, and the muscle will draw from your fat stores for energy that will help you tone your body faster.

– Avoid alcohol or limit it only to social events. Alcohol is stored as fat as it is not a nutrient and as such the name bally’s beer comes from this fact. Alcohol can also create inflammation and disrupt oxygen levels, causing the body’s levels of ATP to drop, which you’ll need for energy. As noted above, limit your alcohol intake or avoid it altogether.

– Keep hydrated. Staying hydrated with water helps in many ways, but when it comes to your abs, a healthy amount of water intake will keep your metabolism running smoothly, reduce bloating, transport nutrients throughout your body, regulate your temperature, and help your joints with stress loads. you put them on

– Stay consistent. I suggest you slowly add healthier options to your diet instead of trying to eliminate all your favorite foods at once. Very often this is a recipe for failure when it comes to changing diets. Our goal is to change a little, see some results, and change a little more. I promise, when you see how this will work, you’ll be glad to give up some of your favorite not-so-healthy foods.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article and learned something that inspires you to take action. Your abs aren’t in the gym guys, they’re in the kitchen. Just be mindful of what you’re eating, look at nutrition labels, and make choices that align with your vision. You can do it! How can I know? I know because I do it every day and if I can, I know you can too. Thank you for reading.
