As mentioned above, Velata offers a wide variety of food-related products that are easy to make or bake. Velata not only offers food, it also offers kitchen tools and utensils.
Some of the products that Velata offers are no-bake cheesecake, syrups, cheese dips, tongs, spatulas, knife blocks, ceramic cutlery and many more! I am going to give a brief explanation of some of the products that the company offers.
- First class chocolates – Sweet, smooth and creamy high quality milk chocolate. It is suggested to heat the chocolate in a microwave and then add it to your Velata Fondue Warmer for a satisfying dessert.
- No Bake Cheesecake – I like the sound of this. It’s almost easy to prepare, hence the “no bake” aspect. The cheesecake also comes in 3 different flavors including Classic, Key Lime, and Caramel Apple.
- raclette flip flops – Although it is not a food product, it is a product related to food. I am giving a brief explanation just to point out that Velata does in fact offer cooking utensils and tools. The description of these flip flops should be self explanatory. They are beautiful flip flops that are easy to wear and grip. Pretty simple stuff.
The opportunity:
Can you really make money with Velata’s business or income opportunity? To answer this, we need to look at their compensation plan. Velata has its payment system established by rank. You will start with a certain rank and earn a certain amount of income, the more you grow in rank, the more your income will grow.

- superstar director – This is the highest ranked rank you can reach in Velata. Of course, there are most payments in this range, but there are also the most required monthly measures that you must achieve.

All businesses require some type of start-up cost. I apologize if I am the one reporting this to you, but providing accurate facts and information is just what I do. However, generally speaking, joining a company like this tends to have a much lower startup cost than a traditional business like a construction business where it could range from $5,000 to $10,000.
So if you are interested in getting involved with this company, there are 3 ways to go about it. You must purchase one of the three kits Velata offers to get started. The 3 kits offered by Velata come with some catalogues, order forms, invitations and marketing brochures.
- fondue starter kit – $99.00. This kit comes with a fondue warmer and fondue sampler plate, two Belgian chocolates, two cheese sauces, and two Meltables.
- Pancake Starter Kit – $129.00. The crepe kit includes a crepe maker, a Classique crepe mix, two artisanal syrups, a cheese dip and a melt.
- Basic raclette kit – 219.00. The Rachlette Kit is the most expensive kit Velata offers and includes a Raclette Table Top Grill and three Artisan Rubs.
They also include a personal website that is free for the first 3 months! However, you have to pay $10 per month, after the 3 months, to keep it active. You can also have another website active by paying an additional $5 per month.
Final Thoughts:
Velata has a wide variety of food related products and hasn’t been in business that long, which is good. That shows that as a company they are motivated and committed to constant expansion.
The opportunity offered by Velata may seem complex, but honestly it is not! It’s very simple and once you do it, it will make a lot more sense. You simply earn money from all the different types of ranks of the team members, including your own. Sure, he can make money from his business, but to be honest; the percentages for him are a bit low to begin with. Once he has reached the highest rank available, he can earn a substantial amount of income; however, the first rank does not offer much income. Also, the monthly requirements to get these payments are annoying and frustrating to keep up with.
The cost to start is cheap and expensive, depending on how you look at it. The 3 kits on offer include different things in addition to catalogues, order forms, invitations and marketing brochures. It really all depends on what exactly you are passionate about offering. I like the fact that they have 3 kits; makes it more interesting to be able to choose your path to success.
Overall I would give this company a B+. Keep in mind that they started in 2012, so they have grown at a very significant rate. I hope that Velata will be a recognized and top-tier company after a few more years.
