Kanye West is very popular today as a rapper. But only a few people know how he managed to get into the world of music. Before becoming a rapper, Kanye had a passion for producing songs. He has been producing singles since the days when he was busy at school. However, the first album, which he officially produced, is called ‘Down to Earth’, which was released in the year 1996. Fortunately, it was in the year 2000 that West began to get some breaks, as he began producing top artists with the company of Roc-a-Fella Records. His popularity as a producer reached a peak when he produced a single called ‘This Can’t Be Life’, which was part of a Jay-Z album. Later he did some other albums like ‘Roc La Familia’, ‘The Dynasty’ etc. contributed to the growth of his popularity. The drum track called ‘Xxplosive’, which was by Dr.Dre and produced by West, was also highly praised around the world.

After his success as a producer for Jay-Z, many of his sounds were included on an album called ‘The Blueprint’, which was highly acclaimed by critics. ‘The Blueprint’ came out in the month of September 2001. One of the biggest singles of all time called ‘Izza’ has also featured some of his work. In other words, it was ‘The Blueprint’, which turned his life as a professional producer upside down to great critical acclaim. He continued his career in the music field as a producer and also started singing some songs.
