There are a few possible options when it comes to hyperhidrosis. Depending on the affected area, some options may not work for all cases. There are also many small things you can do in your daily life that will hopefully reduce the amount of sweating, such as:

Drink a lot of liquids: Water is what is used to cool your body, and with a high water intake, your body will have to sweat less to cool itself.

Anxiety, stress and depression: These are three important factors in sweating, but they are also very obvious. If you suffer from constant anxiety, stress or depression in your life, then this is a very likely cause of your hyperhidrosis.

Eat magnesium and vitamin B: Both vitamins are said to decrease anxiety and therefore decrease sweating.

Bring an absorbent cloth: Many who suffer from palmar hyperhidrosis carry a handkerchief in their pocket that they can use to dry their hands during the day, and no one knows it’s there.

Lose weight: When your body has a large mass to carry, it will be more difficult to move it, so it is more than obvious that being overweight can be a clear cause of hyperhidrosis.

excessive caffeine: Stimulants such as caffeine and nicotine are both criminals of aggravating hyperhidrosis and should be used sparingly.

absorb powers: Things like foot powder, baby powder, cornstarch, or talcum powder have good absorbing abilities and can be used on affected areas, but can get messy.

Templates: Special insoles can be used to absorb sweat for those who suffer from plantar hyperhidrosis.
