The best law schools in the country are admitting students based on various considerations. One’s GPA, LSAT score, personal statement, and quality of recommendation. I’m sure one can handle most of the law school application requirements except how to review for the LSAT exam. Therefore, I thought I would write a comprehensive LSAT preparation guide as I believe in the virtue of preparation and LSAT preparation courses can prepare an aspiring law student to excel on the exam.

Rule of thumb: If you have the resources to pay for a trial prep class, then go for it. It will be your competitive advantage over other applicants. In a capsule, one must not only excel in one aspect, but deliver the best in all.

the 1St. step: Find a reputable test preparation course.

There are hundreds of institutions that offer LSAT preparation courses. Some are legit while others are scams. So the question is, how do you find the legitimate course that will guarantee your success? The answer is simple: research. Read about what people think about the course. Find online reviews and ratings, search for online references, ask previous students, and look up your instructors’ credentials.

The 2n/a step: Find a flexible and convenient class.

The class must be flexible and convenient to follow your lifestyle. As much as possible, your schedule should coincide with yours and not the other way around. Test preparation classes conducted in a traditional classroom, online, or in a peer tutoring format are available. So choose which one would work best for you.

The 3dr step: Meet the proof.

As in military combat, war planners must know the terrain they are going to encounter, so this principle applies to the LSAT. One must know under what will be evaluated. LSAT will test one’s logical reasoning. There will be a critical reasoning section, a reading comprehension test, a writing section, and an unscored experimental section. It is not a test of knowledge about certain topics, but a test of critical thinking and reasoning.

the 4the Step: Pretest.

This will serve as a reference for where you need more work. This will also serve as the basis for comparison on subsequent practice tests. It will help you assess whether the program is effective in increasing your score.

the 5the Step: Use all available resources.

Wait for classes. If you fail, request a recovery session. Do extra homework and join in the discussion. Find as many practice exercises that you can work on. LSAT prep courses can only give you as much as they can, one must do their part to strengthen their test taking skills.
