In 1989, the Nike Company released four types of fabrics, namely, Dri-FIT, Therma-FIT, Clima-FIT, and Storm-FIT. Here F stands for functional, I for innovative and T for technology. These fabrics can help an athlete resist heat and cold, withstand storms and snow, and manage sweat.

Dri-FIT

Dri-FIT fabric can wick sweat away quickly. You will feel comfortable if you wear clothes made from this fabric to exercise. The particular Dri-FIT extra-fine fiber can discharge moisture by virtue of the action of the siphon. Moisture is discharged to the surface of the garment and then vaporizes. When you wear this type of garment, Dri-FIF adheres to the skin. It discharges sweat perfectly and makes you feel very comfortable. Nike DRI FIF is the best lining material. Its characteristics are as follows:

1 It is made of superfine fiber.

2 You can discharge sweat to the outer layer of the garment and then evaporate it to keep the garment dry.

3 It is light and thin.

4 It can be dried quickly.

5 It is cool and comfortable to wear.

6 It is the best facing material.

Therma-FIT

Therma-FIT fabric is lighter and thinner than any other fabric, but it can hold heat very well. If a garment is made of Therma-FIT and its lining is made of Dri-FIT, it should be perfect to breathe and stay warm. You can wear this garment for running, skiing, mountain climbing, or other types of training exercises. Its characteristics are as follows:

1 It is made of superfine fiber.

2 It is thin and light.

3 It can protect against cold air and wind.

4 It can keep warm very well.

Climate-FIT

Clima-FIT fabric is waterproof. It is made of breathable superfine fiber. The water cannot be filtered easily. However, it can discharge sweat effectively. It is specially designed for the athlete to run or play golf. Its characteristics are as follows:

1 It can avoid the wind and rain.

2 It is lightweight.

3 It has good breathability. The bonded fiber can prevent water from leaking out, but it can easily discharge sweat from the body.

Storm-FIT

Storm-FIT fabric is waterproof. There is a layer of waterproof film covering the surface of the super fine fiber so that it can protect against rain, snow and hail. When you do high-energy activities, such as skiing, sailing, hiking, and running, you can sweat a lot. If you wear clothes made from Storm-FIT, the sweat can be easily discharged. Its characteristics are as follows:

1 It is specially designed for use in stormy weather.

2 It has good breathability. Although water cannot easily seep out, it can absorb sweat from your skin and discharge it out of the garment.

3 It can protect against water, wind and snow.

4 If you combine it with a Nike Therma-FIT or Dri-FIT clothing, the effect of wicking away sweat and keeping warm will be better.
