China has one of the longest and busiest railway lines in the world and therefore a major alternative for commuting in China. A Chinese visa holder can travel from their resident to the city and vice versa; Traveling by train is very convenient and cheaper compared to passenger cars, air travel and taxis.

The railway lines are managed by the Chinese Railways Limited, which ensures that all services are provided as required by China visa tourists and local customers. Travel tickets are priced per category of the 4 classes as described below:

The soft sleeper – This is the best class of train and offers exclusive convenience for Chinese visas and other travelers. Chinese visa tickets for the soft bed category are relatively inexpensive given the peace of mind and great customer delight. The category normally consists of 4 unique compartments, an upper and lower berth that transforms into a long chair in the day. Linen items are provided for your use during the day and night. Each visa for China or local traveler is provided with a thermos of warm water, a bath towel and other personal items. Some have built-in TVs for DVD shows and news updates, power outlets where you can plug in your phones, flashlights, or even laptops for charging.

luxury bed – Most of the trains traveling to Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and Hong Kong have this luxury soft bed feature. They consist of 2 bunk beds and a private bathroom for a single traveler with a Chinese visa.

hard sleep class These suit Chinese visa travelers who have a low budget on travel costs. Sometimes it can be applied in cases of urgent calls for trips where budgets are usually very tight. It is perfect for China visa tourists who do not need exclusive but intermediate accommodation. Hard sleepers are reasonably cushioned to lean on anytime a visa to travel to China is desired. Bed linen can be provided to visa for travelers from China at night; there are no power outlets.

hard and soft class This train category can be combined with first or second class travel on a European train. Its seats are hard and extremely classic. Not all Chinese trains have soft-style seats, only a few.

However, all Chinese visa travelers should know that not all Chinese trains offer similar facilities. Some will include or lose flush toilets, soft sleeping seats, food, drink and snack cafeterias where Chinese visa guests can purchase dinner items.
