It is winter in New York and the city is ready for fall/winter 2007 – 2008.

colors

The hot summer sun highlights the need to be trend conscious this season for Londoners.

Colors: White will dominate all looks this summer in London, be it clothing or accessories. Aside from those cool warm biscuit neutrals, steamy gray and stone with metallic trims on garments and accessories will be in style.

Outerwear: “Tie” ties accentuate looks for blouses, skirts and bags this season. Shorts with key tie details at the waist will dominate streetwear. Shorts will be a must this season to glorify the beauty of summer. The empire waistline will remain prominent and the maxi dress will accentuate the mannequins in the store window. Utility-inspired shorts are important to the casual women’s market. For casual wear, short suits with halter and plunging necklines will be in style. Bathing suits will see more colors in animal prints.
